The Importance of Empathy in Prison

The Forgiveness Project goes into prisons and works with people who've done terrible things. The charity's work is that someone who's shown very little empathy towards others, can start quite late in life to learn empathy. And even if they're never going to be released because they've got a life sentence, they can nevertheless improve their own understanding of themselves and the relationships around them.
