The Importance of Understanding Reality

Despite his Nobel Prize. His iron cross. His efforts to save the nation, Einstein's value as a man only mattered if he was Jewish. He had spent his career fashioning himself into the perfect German and now understood what that meant in Hitler's terms. It is somewhat like having to abandon a theory on which you have worked your whole life. And I'm filled with incredible disgust. That's unbelievably sad.
