Each culture, each generation has passed on the wisdom of that sense of gratitude in life. What are you contributing to? How is this helping your community, your family, your organization,. Your anything else that is of importance to you? These topics create a common guage across cultures. And these topics help. If you put people together and have a conversation, away, what gives you energy, all of a sudden you have a foundation that you can always fall back on. You might be surprised how much of a buffer that will be for when the bride does get bumpier. The one thing that surprised me that concepts were so universal that i barely would notice that i am in a new country
