Astiocus and the Spartans

After putting down the pro-Atheanian insurrection, Astiocus left Kios with 20 ships. He made two attacks on Patellium and another on Clazominai. Both of these missions were not only unsuccessful, but strong winds caused most of his ships to be detained around the islands of Marathusa, Pellet, and Dremosa. Unfortunately for Astiocus, he became separated from the rest of his fleet. Since he was Navark, his ship sailed in front, so the strong winds carried him and only him, further off to Fokia, and then to Kaim.
