She's probably talking from the point of view of being in Germany and then she would say I need to go to London. But since she's in London technically it should be I need to come from time to time because her son lives here. She says recharge your batteries which is quite a nice expression obviously you can recharge the battery on your phone if theattery on your phone goes down at the end of the day but also to recharge your batteries is an expression that means when you go somewhere new or go to another place in order to get your energy back.
