The pilot risked his life to pick up two climbers at 21,000 feet. The air was so thin that he was having trouble staying aloft. One of the other climbers laid out a trail with pink coolad in an attempt to avoid crevasses. He didn't actually land because he was afraid if he actually touched the ice,. His skids would free in the ice, and he would be unable to take off again.
