When people are focused on finances and when they're struggling on te scarcity, they do less well at that. So can it make us more impulsive or less tolerant? Impulse yes. Studies have shown tare more likely to eat unhealthy food. They are less likely to notice, literally, a dod dressed as a clown riding a unicycle in front of them on an campus central yard.
