Maxwell: I'm very friendly to the kind of constructivist view of emotion that's being pushed by that group. And this kind of reading her book, How Emotions Am Made, I think it's just blew my mind. We have a preprint that's in a revision right now in neural computation where we make basically that kind of argument. He says emotions are like an emergent form of prediction. Maxwell: As soon as you start to monitor yourself and to assess how well you're doing implicitly your moving towards emotional types of inference.
