The Importance of Dialogue in Writing

E.E. Cummings comes to mind as a very well-known example of poets whose work is primarily visual. So what is it about your writing where you don't necessarily want it to just be a visual object anymore? You want it to be something that is audible, I guess, or hearable. Well, I want it to both, which is, you know, I don't know if poetry can serve two masters, but that's certainly what I've been trying to do for a very long time.
