The Downward Spira Is the Inevitable Thinking
He started a university in an internment camp. In the camp they had 40 lectures a week. Now they didn't have a single book. There were no blackboards, no chalk, no nothing,. No paper, nothing just people talking to each other. That is possibility. If he'd gone around saying to people, isn't this great, somebody would have hit him in the face because positive thinking is pretending things are good. But possibility is an open-ended pathway. It's always available under all circumstances. You can find some pathway in every circle. And there's no situation that is so good that it's not open to the downward spiral.
