What Is Legalism?

Legalism is any action added onto the gospel in order to please God. It can be just as legalistic about tattoos, trendy church services as you can about dating and modesty. Legalism is not something that your indie, fundy friend has a monopoly on. And so it's important that we walk with the Holy Spirit to guide us into the abundant life Jesus promised.
