How to Grow Giant Reeds

Giant reed is a perennial. You plant it once and it's just going for its entire life. So the life spans between 15 to 25 years, usually we can get about 20 years out of the plants. And then you would harvest this either once or multiple times a year, and it just keeps growing back. It doesn't have a natural pest that will kill it, just like in the United States. There's a wasp somewhere that lives somewhere that gets at it. That's great. They're out there somewhere. We are excited to talk with you on the podcast.
