McCarthy was very shrewd in trying to co-opt some of those folks on the far right because they were very close to Donald Trump. They plan to put together bills that have no chance of becoming well, but will pass because the House is a majoritarian institution. It will be stalled in the Democratic led Senate where you need 60 votes to overcome a filibuster. So we're not going to see much actual legislating in the next two years. But there are lots of issues that they can plan to push.
