I think the other thing that can wash over us is just that fear of man. So often we close our eyes because we just don't want to see how we're doing. Having your spiritual eyes opened is infinitely more significant than opening your physical eyes. It's such a gift to be reminded that God has purpose to save a people, deliver people for his glory.
