Marcelo Mayor Shortstop Prospect for the Red Sox
Marcelo Meyer was the fourth overall selection in the 2021 draft out of high school in California. He entered this season as a consensus top 15 overall prospect. I like Meyer as a floor guy because he has a chance to tap into the power. There's still way too much offensive upside even with the struggle of what's been happening in double A so far.
