The Hard Problem of AI Alignment
Hamio Sange in the movie that we're going to be talking about today. In recent months, I think we've all been a flabbergasted by the rapid development and successive iterations of ever more intelligent AI systems. This has given increased prominence to the hard problem known as AI alignment. We can have ever more intelligent AIs retain a link to human values and behave in ways which lead to desirous outcomes. Implicit within this is the assumption that human values are intrinsically good. Yes, we have values that are admirable, which AI should definitely follow.
