The Reformation and Humanism in the 16th Century

The sixteenth entury became a high point in the history of reflection on the problem of free will. The reformation was only one of the three main ingredients that went into the stew that was european philosophy in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. Having already looked at the intellectual history of italy in this same period, we can already guess at what the other two might be, humanism and scholasticism.
