Alec Murdoch's Murder Trial Is Over

Murdoch arrived in an unmarked van at the courts back door, straight from the jail cell where he spent more than a year dressed in business casual. A Murdoch family portrait was taken down on the judge's orders before opening arguments began. Lead prosecutor Creighton Waters opened with the prosecution's version of how the murders happened. The facts were on his client side, he told the jury. There was no direct evidence tying Alec to the murders. He is presumed innocent.
