The pain that preterm infants likely feel when they're in the niko. To talk about how to treat that pain, i reached out to mats ericson who leads a research group in sweden. Mat's story starts in the 19 eighties and there was just a part of the job he hated. He started to try new messeds to alleviate pain. Powerful drugs like opioids just weren't great options. So mat's approach was just one simple solutions.

Doctors can save the lives of premature infants, but the process is often painful. Luckily, a solution might be as simple as a parent’s loving touch.
