In the United States, the average person now spends two and a half hours a day on social media. In 2015, the average twelfth grader was online for four hours a day. Technology conveys narratives and beliefs of secular modernity in an immersive way far beyond what TV, radio, or movies could ever do. The challenges of formation in such a digital culture are considerable.
