The Kinship of a Community in a Time of Lockdown
Covid-19, Burie Families for Justice, was started by two people who are total strangers who met on Facebook. Social media is a beast with all sorts of negatives as well as positives, but it was incredibly important for this and for connection during that time of lockdown. I mean, of course, there was no safe building. It was a completely mad idea in lots of ways.
