Why Reddit Is Protesting Their API

Reddit is charging users 24 cents for 1000 API calls, which sounds like a lot, but it goes quick. The timeframe in which they're being given to switch is extremely short. It's not like this was communicated and like, Hey, you've got a year to decide. So maybe it'll be much to do about nothing, but maybe, you know, may will.
