Think back almost into the 40s. That slow leisurely dining experience might be a two to three hour event. Appetizers, lazy Susan's are now. We call it charcuterie and you have your prime rib or steak or there's even things like frog legs after dinner. The whole thing it's a production. It's an event. They were really bigger during prohibition and right after prohibition so they kept people drinking but yet then they could keep them over on the side to eat and then they were on back and to keep drinking.
