Von Malas and Bonaparte

After the fall of genoa on june fourth, came days of chaotic, furious marching. The austrians sent engineers east to build more bridges and despatched spies armed with disinformation into french controlled territory. Meanwhile, von malas army became more concentrated with each passing day as units who had been besieging genoa or preparing for the invasion of france arrived around alexandria. Clearly, there would be a major engagement soon, but no one could yet predict where or what form it would take. Napoleon still had no idea how precarious his position was.
