How I Learned to Do Genetic Genealogy
Former patent attorney was working on his own family history research. Was using DNA because ancestors had done some interesting journeys from one country to another. By the time he got through, he was fairly good at identifying biological relatives for people who were adopted. And so there was an email that came in from a deputy Peter Headley in the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department crimes against children detail. It was a woman who is now in her thirties, but she had been abducted as a six-month-old. She had no idea anything about her family history where she was from and who her parents were.
