Finance minister nirvala sisaravan stirred the hornet's nest. She apparently called the 19 91 economic reforms half baked. We thought it would be a good idea to trace the path to the ninetye 91 reforms, see if it deserves all that praise and so on. But before we get there, i remind her that offering a simplified summary isn't very easy. So we will just have to leave out many intereting details and just focus on the important bits.
