How to Hook Readers and Get Them to Read Your Books

Our listeners want to know how YA authors are getting their books into people's hands. Do you look at library journal or do you use the back of the book? I try and read, but obviously that's hard when you're talking to five middle school classes one day. Sometimes students will ask for a reading. Like read the first few pages. There are some really cool book trailers out there. They're so awesome. And it's because you are pitching these books to an audience that spends so much time online and on YouTube.
