i think apologetics has played a real central role in making it the case that i am still a christian. I also had an experience of god's love when i was 17, and that was transformative in my own life. Ultimately, like there were plenty of opportunities for me to fall away if i thought t there were good reasons and good arguments on the other side of it all.
