Is There a Debate About Britain's Place in Europe?
Michael Heseltine says he was pro-European from his mid-teens and onwards. He thinks the most appalling thing of Brexit is what it's done to younger generation. It has made them feel that we're in the same continent, but not at table where these things are discussed. But they can see European colleagues taking decisions in which they have no part. There doesn't seem to be the kind of anger that we saw when we did the People's Vote campaign. I think people who voted for it would now set that they're not better off and that they will lie to us.
