Is Public Wi-Fi a Bad Idea?
Public wifi is something that I try to avoid whenever possible. There's a hacker conference every year in Vegas and if you go there, you're gonna get owned in about three seconds. The better solution is to have backups of your data that are offline, that can't be touched if your system were to get ransomware. And then as far as other things just to be aware of, there's a term, I hate the term, but it's called pig butchering,. It's basically like romance scamming people.
