For me, meditation is a key. It may not be everyone's. We all function in different ways. When I was a vegan, I was wildly overweight and sick - that was part of my depression. And when you became a vegan, you became a world-class ultra runner. So it works different for different people. Each have to find what works for us and try things and see what works. Which is its own form of openness.
