Is There a Social Exclusion Penalty?

I think we really need to try to get social media out of middle school. There are certain things that adolescent brain is just not not ready for. I've found from speaking with a loto middle school and high school kids, i ask them how many f you've been shamed on social media? All hands go up. So there's something about public shaming and exposure that is especially unhealthy for middle school kids, and especially for girls. If anybody is listening to this, who has any influence over middle school, try to get a school wide policy that discourages parents from letting their kids have an account. Wait till they're fourteen or so until the scholastic world gets harder....
