The Seven Sacraments Are Gifts to Us
The seven sacraments are directly instituted, the divinely instituted, we believe by Christ, all seven of them. They're gifts to us and God has given them to us as a guarantee for our benefit to know of the realities that are communicated. The form of the sacrament today that we go to the ritual of going into the confessional saying, bless me father, I've sinned, that whole thing developed through through the church's history guided by the Holy Spirit in the tradition capital T of the church.
