Is There a Story of War?

There aren't a lot of indications of military organization in those early days. Instead, I keep staring at a story of individual families and of integration. It's hard to imagine because we've grown up with Hengist and Allah and Churdich. We're not looking at an Anglo-Saxon cemetery that's comprised entirely of foreign bodies. These are essentially the same people. They just look Anglo- Saxon now.
