The First Amendment and Campaign Finance

There have been a lot of interesting efforts at the state oca level to come up with alternatives. New york city has a very interesting model, and there are bills in congress to try and replicate that model at at the federal level. There's a very interesting acist that was filedand i know you you all hade mentioned this in an earlier podcast by senator mc connell. The idea that this is somehow uniquely or exceptionally american isn't actually true if you pay attention to what's going on within the united states.
