Using Points to Plot Data
When we're using points to plot our data, one common type of graph is a scatter plot. Another way that we sometimes see points used is in dot plots. The lines that connect the points need to make sense when plotting continuous data. If you find yourself needing to plot time, lines are usually a good place to start.
