The term brilliant jerk is often thrown around in describing these sorts of individuals. Is it possible to turn them around? Or very often you just have to part ways? My experience is thatt most of them are completely unaware of their behaviour. So i've seen a few that couldn't be turned around, but i most can. Most just wern weren't really aware that they were so disruptive.
