Flask 2.0 is set to be released on May 11, with a number of new features including nested blueprints and the ability to use tortoise ORM as an extension. Flasque SQL alchemy will have a little release later this year so that you can write your own queries using it instead of relying on Oracle or something like that. There won't be any breaking changes in flas 2.0 but there may be some deprecations if people want to change their code after they've used it for a while.
