Even with the silly comedies like Talladega Nights and Anchorman, that was always our approach to it was we had kind of a buried higher goal behind the movie. And then, you know, we're idiots too. We like to do silly comedy.We like to improvise. So yeah, it seems to hold pretty well if you have higher ambitions and the comedy is always going to be there. But if you just go for laughs, what do you have? If that doesn't work?"
