Zelle's Theme in Breath of the Wild
In breath of the wild, i mean, it was one of the most magical moments i've ever had in a video game. And the reason for that is because this theme has been connected to me for so many years. There are so many examples of that kind of echoing, that sort of subtle compositional and arranging work, that i couldn't possibly list them all. But there are a few, though that i really love, that i wanted to highligt.
Few video game series have a musical tradition as rich as The Legend of Zelda.
From Zelda's Lullabye to Epona's Song to the Great Fairy Fountain and Dragon Roost Island, Kirk unravels some of his favorite Zelda music and explores how Nintendo's composers keep weaving them back together into beautiful new patterns.
