The Mysenians and the Sea
Mysenian power grew in Greece just as Hittite power grew in Anatolia. The Mysenians quickly adapted to the sea and became famous for their seafaring. That allowed them to interact with the existing Minoan civilization on Crete. It led to trade between the two peoples and probably led to a rivalry over time.
