The Importance of Listening

I would like to think that once you start listening, the idea and the performance is of the sound designer sort of enough to draw you in. If you're thinking about those other things, then we as writers haven't done our job properly. You know, I mean, it should feel like a real voicemail when you're in that moment with that parent so being spoken to you one to one. When it works well and when the writing's good... It's really emotionally affecting for an artist. As a writer, that is a very different relationship with your audience is much more intimate. In what sense have you taken quite a modern perspective of humanity and brought it to the people of the
