Friction seems to be an incredibly important force within Silicon Valley, whilst people outside of it very rarely talk about the way that friction works. Friction would be you're trying to do something and there's roadblocks, something's making it hard to do. The simplest thing with the greatest impact is what I'm always looking for. And so, early on, and just my own hardwiring as a person, I've always valued simplicity.
