Is Parisian French Culture Different From Yours?

In Paris comedy is less widespread than in London. In France people are a bit more formal for example when you meet someone for the first time it's quite customary to say in a Bonjour monsieur. If you feel like you understand French or Parisian culture better than me please do leave a comment.
