George Stephanopoulos: January sixth was an attempt by a violent mob to stop the congressional ount of the electoral vote. Trump understood that he needed to delay the count on january sixth in order to find enough corrupt state officials, state legislatures, secretaries of state, county election board members and now what we see happening is again,. a concerted attempt by trump and his allies to fill those offices with loyalists who can be counted on to do the corrupt thing others were unwilling to do last time. He didn't succeed partly because of civic virtue of some of those state officials but i think it's at least as likely a scenario following the next presidential election as outright violence. But mass violence is not
