I don't see anything actually in contemporary AI. It expresses and instantiates those values. If we allow ourselves to think about those kinds of societies, then we must allow ourselves to consider what kind of technologies might support them. I'm not talking about a 50-year research project here; if anything, it's about recombining and taking apart and putting that together in a very different way. And I do think this is an immediate thing.
