Sim Swapping - What Are You Seeing?
One of the sets of activity we saw last year was sim swapping, you know, as a technique. The actors that are employing it, although they may have some sort of loose connective tissue, are generally not directly associated with the Russian speaking criminal underground. This kind of comes out of a completely different ecosystem and is primarily a social engineering strategy used by actors to originally steal things like social media accounts.
