Dr. Marc Jenkins is a Regents and Distinguished McKnight University Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology and the Director of the Center for Immunology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Jenkins discovered that CD4⁺ T cells require CD28 as well as TCR to produce IL-2. His lab investigates CD4⁺ T and B cell activation in vivo by directly tracking antigen-specific cells.
