The Tragedy on Kinderscout

The ramblers were in a good mood as they hiked. There were some police behind them, keeping an eye on things and huffing to keep up with the pace of the young walkers. At one point, a group of gamekeepers approached them, wagging their sticks, and a small scuffle ensued. The trespass had been a success. They'd openly walked on kinderscout, and no one had been able to stop them. And it probably all would have ended right there with nothing much gained or lost on either side, if the police hadn't decided to make some arrests.
