The Concerns About Pledged Holdings and Mutual Funds
There have been concerns about pledged holdings and mutual funds. Although these developments are in flux, should investors be concerned here? So I think we've seen recently in a few stocks where the promoter holding has been pledged, seen a huge volatility and sharp correction in this stocks. But at least we should be aware about when they're investing into a stock, whether there are any pledges by the promoters. Again, there are various reasons by the promoters who would have raised money to invest into other businesses.
